And safer in that with only one tire loose, the truck wont try to go sideways.
From a visual standpoint, if you make a lot of smoke, nobody will know it is one-tire-fire.
And you save on tire wear.

Yes they are for the right truck. With a floor mounted stick shift. I changed a lot of stuff though.
I have a plan. It's tight but it's okay.
I made a much more thorough and complete list:
Z bar modification
Repaint radiator support
Exhaust
Spark plug wires (they are set up for ram horn)
Windshield washer lines
Window crank and door lever clips
Dash trim
Ash tray things
Battery things
Gauges
Wheels and tires
Shifter boot
Floor mat
The school year has begun and my credit card is on fire from all of the truck and school purchases.
On the other side of the news, it is fun and easy to post video updates, but since Youtube considers them shorts, they get lots of views, and therefore lots of clueless commenters that think they know EVERYTHING.
YouTube shorts are the crack of the entertainment world, and the people who are attracted to them are bottom-dwellers hooked on a constant feed of dopamine. Going to landscape formatting and making the videos longer might pull in a better demographic, if that's what you're after.
I have the black face version of those. And I like the simple face to them. Blends in well with the interior of my car. I really like their accuracy and responsiveness and warning lights. The built-in shift light on the attack is awesome as well though I do wish I sprung for the sequential light version in hindsight
Check out what Tim made for me. I put the battery hold down and j bolts together today, and I'll need a minor modification to a battery cable, but wow!!

that looks great! If you ever have any issue with it, please let me know. I enjoyed building it, wish I would have printed it about 3% smaller so the top could have been one piece. instead I printed nearly all of it before I realized the printer wasnt big enough for the top.
There's a joke in the making here about hookers on the floor, but I can't put it together.
That thing is going to sing like a bird.

Oh, wait - that's a fake battery top?! VERY COOL!

Am I the only one here that on occasion goes back to the first post of this thread just to contextualize the magnitude of awesomeness that has been developed over the span of the project?
I got some time yesterday, between building a desk with tunakid 4, and driving about doing errands. I got the exhaust all hung. It fought hard, but it should be good now. It's better than good, it's done.
The z bar modification is nearly done. I just need to adjust the linkage for the pedal, which is easy, but it was late and I was sick of lying on my back all day.
The spark plug wires are really close. Windshield washer lines run.
I made a mistake on the battery top from Tim, and need to decide how to handle the positive terminal accidentally being put on the far side (so the cable doesn't reach).
The gauges are getting some pre - work.
No good pictures because all of this is boring to look at.
Here's the list:
Repaint radiator support
Dash trim
Ash tray things
Battery things
Gauges
Wheels and tires
Shifter boot
Clutch rod boot
I spent way too long getting the clutch linkage fixed up and the spark plug wires run again for the header arrangement. Of course, everything under the hood has primer overspray and is annoying. Also of course, I couldn't get the stupid thing started to hear the new exhaust (I think I flooded it).
