I need a painter buddy...
I can do pretty much anything required in the realm of car building and restoring EXCEPT anything that happens after clear coat is sprayed. I can see climbing Everest as a personal activity that might happen long before Color sanding and buffing happened in my world. Kudos to those that can.

it doesn't photograph well, but the repairs on the passengers b pillar on the hardtop telegraph through the paint horribly. Its going to have to be redone.
this may be the final picture you see of the red car as a running/driving car. Its tine for it to finish donating parts to the green car.
Im currently down to a 2 miata average on the property. From here my wife just gets happier.

Now to change the harness over.
My debate today:
Partial wire tuck the bay and rewrap the harnesses, or clean up and repair to factory-ish?
In reply to Dusterbd13 :
I mean, with the level of detail already in the paint such... A wire tuck would top it off nicely.

I think I agree. Maybe not a full tuck, but definitely a solid tidy.
Any idea if I can delete the underhood diagnostic port? That would think some stuff out...

Yes it is! After a LOT of epoxy and cloth work.
Thanks!!
If you go back through the last 10 pages or so, you'll see the process. Its interspersed throughout the build.
And unfortunately, your headprint didn't survive the repairs....
