The funny/sad thing is that there’s a pizza place in the parking lot–but was too busy talking and looking at cars to break away.

Miatas. Lots of them.
Mixed in, of course: the people who love them.
The occasion? The monthly evening meet-up hosted by Orlando Roadsters.
The weather forecast looked good, so we made the drive over in our Garage Rescue Miata.
A group from Tampa rolled in, swelling the numbers to fill two parking lots. A hundred cars? Maybe.
No racing, no competition. Just lots of people hanging. One Miata had an old-school TV/VCR combo perched atop its luggage rack. On the screen? Mario. Around it? A crowd.

What’d we do? Talk, look and make photos. Dinner could wait.

LOL, usually when I missed lunch at an event, it was because there were not enough people helping. Not good meories.

My original plan was to arrive early so I‘d have time to grab a slice, but I couldn’t get away from my desk. Next time!
In reply to David S. Wallens :
Thing is, it was my event, so I was first there and last to leave. And had to eat snacks while walking from one thing that had to be done to another. Didn't miss it when I had to take a year off for basal cell to heal, so haven't been back.
The point being to the general group- if you are having fun, remember that there are people that are working hard to put the event on, please help them. If you don't, then the number of people willing to put events on will dwindle to nothing.
