Nearly 500 cars attended this past weekend’s Gridlife Circuit Legends at Lime Rock Park, but some of the most exciting news comes from the on-track action.
In total, three track records were broken: Jackie Ding set a 54.168-second lap in his BMW M2, Peter Granberg set a 56.855-second lap in his Subaru BRZ and Sam Deuling set a 1:03.903-second lap in his Honda Fit, breaking or setting new records in Track Mod, Falken Club TR and Falken Club SC, respectively.
The latest addition to the Gridlife lineup, GLGT, saw thrilling battles between James Houghton in his Honda Civic touring car and AJ Hartman in his twin-turbo V6 Ford Mustang.
In the end, it would be Houghton who would secure the win in all four races, with Hartman finishing the weekend in second place.
Gridlife wrapped up the festivities on Sunday with FCP Euro Sunday Motoring Meet, which brought together track builds, daily drivers and just about everything in between for a laid-back celebration of car culture.
In reply to beatus :
Odd. The lap time I put into the story came directly from Gridlife, but, yeah, the results sheet shows a different time.
Thank you for catching that. The lap time in the story has been updated.
