Yesterday, I decided that moving one of our Hobart JetEx GPU carts 100' by myself was a good idea.

Over the winter something bounced over the guardrail and hit the left headlight on my Renegade and broke the housing. It was a few days before it was due for inspection so I had to go with what I could find off internet. It was fast, and cheap, but not good. The “quality” aftermarket part did not have a replaceable bulb. It’s molded in place. I should have ordered a better one but forgot, and the permanent bulb has ceased working. I really don’t have time to dismantle the front end to replace it again so this weekend’s project is going to be figuring out how to cut the back open and stuffing a bulb in.

Every once and awhile I get someone who wants to save money by setting it up themselves. I rarely do the job if they do but if it's someone I know I'll do it.
Last guy blew the grade so badly he cost himself $7800 in extra concrete. Didn't exactly save himself any money lol

I had a prospective client insist the other day that I provide two quotes: One for a full structure, and one for materials only.
No, I'm not going to provide "materials only." I do not supply DIY kits. Doing so would cost both you and me more in the long run and nobody would be happy. I will provide an integrated solution or I will hope that the odds be ever in your favor.
I am a contractor, not a trade school.
Here i am, wrapped around the porcelain throne. Throat raw, rims hurting, stomach still rolling despite being empty. Shaking, cold and sweating.
