And how about 99% of science fiction where apparently the sound of engines and laser canons travel quite well through the vacuum of space.
Or when the ship is under attack , pipes fall from the ceiling and there is lots of steam . ..
My favorite is Passenger 57. Not an actual historical issue however. Wesley Snipes gets called away from one place and drives to the airport. He leaves in a red 93 Corvette convertible with a white top but arrives in an 86. Different wheels and the gills are the giveaway.
...and they just referred to a Rambler as a Plymouth Fury. Poor coordination between props and screenwriters.

Keeping it car-oriented, there are two things that Just. Won't. Die.:
1. No matter how fast a couple cars are chasing each other, there is ALWAYS another inch of gas pedal travel when things get serious.
2. Any time a manual transmission car is in a chase, or when racing, it seems to have a 12-speed transmission.

3. Tires always, always squeal when a car leaves a parking spot. . .
3b. even if it's dirt.

On the original Hawaii 5-0 TV show, McGarrett would squeal the tires of his big black Mercury on dirt roads in pineapple plantations.
And when he got back to headquarters there was always an open parking spot right in front of the building (of course that happens on most TV shows.)
A friend who used to be a full-time movie critic had an encyclopedic recall of popular songs, and would get upset if songs were inappropriate to the time being depicted: "I couldn't stand that they played Unchained .Melody when everyone knows that it didn't come out till the next summer!" I felt bad for the movie makers that they might get a worse review over a detail like that.
