Saw one last week. Saw a second car in north metro Atlanta this week. Not the same car. Is this some kind of stupid trend?
I imagine a car coming toward me that has red lights in front. Seems confusing and dangerous.

Could also be illegal in some states. I saw a motorcycle recently who was running two red lights up front. I thought it was a good way to get killed, like have someone pull out in front of you. Appear as to be the rear of a car and therefore moving away from others when actually you are moving toward them.
Goofy turn signal colors aren't that new of a trend and non-traditional colors for lights are illegal in most jurisdictions. Red and/or blue on the front of the car will get the most police attention.

I hope it is! But I also think blacked out tail lights (zero reflectivity) and windows obstructed by stickers and mobile phones and stuff should be illegal as well…. #getoffmylawn
I know that back East yearly inspections are a thing. I really wish that they would do that here. I see so many cars with broken lights, clearly illegal lights (wrong colors, light bars or off road lights), non functional mufflers, non functional smog equipment/coal rollers on a regular basis. Personally, I think that if you can SEE smoke trailing out I think your car should be impounded immediately. We have so many laws on the books her in CA that are ignored by the populace and law enforcement. We passed a noise proposition a few years ago. Some group sued because they thought that it was discriminatory to poor people. Well, if they can afford to put a louder muffler or completely strip out the muffler, they should be able to afford to put a reasonable sounding exhaust back on, right? Sorry, I seem to have stumbled onto this soapbox. I'll go back to my porch now.
Red in the front of a car in Maryland is a no no.
But so are tires sticking out past fenders and the glass so dark, they won't even know your name.
But I digress. Everything is legal if it is not enforced.
There's a MkIV Jetta running around town with aftermarket RGB headlight halos that continuously cycle through all of the colors.
Seems like a great way to scream "Pull me over!"
'round these parts, I'm seeing bright, deep greens, purples, reds and blues as always on fog lights. Not like, the color temperature on these has a bit of purple highlights. Full on lens filter, bold AF primary-ass colors

I don't know how folks get away with it. 15 years ago I got pulled over multiple times for a slight yellow filter on my headlights.
I guess the fact that you can walk into a Walmart and buy this garbage, has normalized it or something
Red lights in non standard legal places need a license to run them (rescue, Police, fire, etc.)
I saw this on my way into work just yesterday.
