No, that's something else

These are "Pulmonea." They are air-cooled VWs underneath, and serve as beach taxis in the city of Mazatlan.
They are called Pulmonea because the drivers of normal taxis, in a massively backfiring attempt at slander, told people that riding one would give you a pulmonary infection. People thought this was funny, and the name stuck as an expression of affection.

I've not had the pleasure of going to the local Pick 'n Pull recently. Imagine my surprise to see a Rover 2000TC at the entrance to the yard! And they only want 1.9 Steves for it! I haven't seen one in the wild for at least 30 years, probably because none of them run. Not the most reliable car ever made. Even when new, they weren't noted for their ability to stay out of the shop and they probably haven't gotten better. I was in a bit of a hurry so I didn't stop for more pitchers. Sorry...

Another unicorn in downtown(ish) Cleveland.

A Subaru Outback *sedan*, with the 3.0R package.
Flappy bumpers is a common Cleveland option package.
In reply to Pete. (l33t FS) :
IIRC, the 3.0R had less power than the 2.5 turbo and couldn't be had in the US with a manual transmission. I might have been tempted if manual had been an option... we ended up with the 2.5 turbo GT. The Legacy of that era was a great little sports sedan... it was a shame when it turned into a Camryccord.
Spotted yesterday in Emmaus PA. Honda S800 with Mugen wheels and color coordinated store front. Self portrait in the window reflection as well. Neighbor says store front color happened before the car arrived a few years ago. Otherwise the showroom has remained empty![]()

There's usually a black S2000 in that storefront with the S800. I used to pass that regularly.

Well, with only half a Stag engine they should be twice as reliable as a Stag, so, umm, yeah.
Snark aside, I can report another sort of TC sighting, but sadly don't have a pic of the stunningly well cared for Chrysler TC By Maserati But Really A K Car we saw on the road in Switzerland this week. Someone is clearly still in love.

These Lambo suvs aren't unicorns in ATL but it's the first time I've seen one on Pirelli racing slicks.
Single cab trucks are cool, and I had a couple BITD. But after owning super and crew cab trucks for 20 years, I could never go back to one. The extra space is just too useful.
