Picked up a running driving 2004 Jaguar xjr recently since I wanted to run it in the challenge but may have go distracted by a lotus which is demanding money for parts. Price wise the car itself is $1500 but I've also got $1500 worth of budget exempt parts like new oem breaks and a set of Kumho ecsta sport a/s which currently aren't installed. So the total price would be $3,000.
It's got a 4.2L supercharged V8 which makes about 400hp and it's got an all aluminum body and chassis so it only weighs about 4,000lbs. You can either cruise in luxury or strip out the seats and make a nice couch (that was our plan after buying it if it didn't run).
It's got a few problems the dash looks like a Christmas tree and the paint is pretty faded but it'd be a fun challenge car and I'd love to see it race. Also air suspension was working very recently but now has a fault, it wasn't leaking bad before so could be a sensor but not entirely sure, not too floppy without it though might even perform better in the autocross lol.
