As my 1991 F250 was having it's way with me I came up with an idea.  Let me explain.  It seems my F250 spends a lot of time sitting.  And during those times the lug studs rust.  And then every couple of years when I need to remove a wheel, I have to fight all eight lug nuts off of the wheel being serviced.  As I was doing the final brake adjustment (rear drum) I thought of the idea of using a battery terminal brush to clean off the stud before removing the nut.  I could also use the other end of the brush to clean the inside of the nut.  I will buy a new terminal cleaner and let everyone know how it goes.

I use these. Yes, they are just vinyl covers. Keeps the rust away.
