It was better on Saturday, but there were more deals on Sunday. I picked up a pair white '70-74 Barracuda inner door panels for $20 tha were unfortunately marked " '70-73 Challanger-$50" in Sharpie. On the outer surface...

I'd be interested in doing a grm cars and coffee some morning.
I'd even be willing to host something maybe early August? I have a big driveway.
Survived the rain storms at Blackhawk yesterday but they did shut things down early because of lightning.
Someone had a bad session in their expensive VW

Oh that's really close to me. I might try to bring the kids in the next couple weeks!
In reply to Robbie (Forum Supporter) :
Definitely do! Went out again tonight and had a great time. Doug's has good food too and the bar next door lets us use the lot to park so I grab a beer from them as well.
Hey, anyone interested in a work bench?
Got it from a buddy but too big for me. 6'x3' with a upper shelf and a hard plastic top.

It was beautiful out there today. Over 800 cars I think.
My buddy’s 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona won his class. No love for my Merkur but there was another Merkur there which shocked me.

Morris is this Saturday. I'll go if my cousin asks otherwise I'm hanging with "the wife".
Going to have to miss this one but looks like they have a couple more this year.
Heading to Cozzi Corner tonight. First show of the year for me!
Hey there Indiana/Illinois folks,
I run a club in the Western Chicago suburbs. We get together at least once a month for a basic morning meetup over coffee and donuts, occasionally to work on each other's cars over BBQ, and we are starting to run workshops and winter events too. We organize through Facebook at the moment although I am considering a Discord integration. It is a growing private club with about 35 members, grown from 5 members at the beginning of last year.
Our mission is to support the DIY aspects of the hobby, address the 3rd place crisis by giving those of us without "show quality cars" (which is a matter of perception really) a chance to hang out with some like minded folks on a regular basis, and to foster and support vehicle builds as a form of expressionism. Respect all builds!
If anyone is interested, let me know. No membership fees of any kind, we have access to some local discounts and offer other membership benefits too.
Cheers!
