I have gone to this show before and it is very ecclictic and a blast.

I have seen all sorts of stuff shw up ther from an early 1920's? Bentley to A Citroen 2CV and track prepped Golf.

A few of you here seemed interested the last time I posted about it, so why not make it an (un)official meetup?

Offically it this the Vintage Restorations Limited Open House & Car Show located in Union Bridge MD. This open house event attracts folks from the DC, Baltimore, Bay Areas and even me from Pittsburgh.

I will be there with this..

Unless there is some sort of monsoon / huricane dumping that weekend, then I plan to go.

I plan to pack up the wagon tonight and possibly on Thursday, too. I think I will take the bicycle along on the roof rack and do some biking on the C&O Towpath trail as I have a ~330-mile multiday bike trek in the works for May 2026 that will take me from D.C. back home to Pittsburgh on the C&O as well as the GAP trail. This weekend's planned little ride - less than ~60 miles with likely no overnight camping will get me acclimated to the vibe of the C&O trail in VA and MD. I am quite familiar with the GAP trail, as I have ridden most of it from the Mason-Dixon Line to Pittsburgh in segmented sections over the years.

My buddy's house, where I will be staying, has some access to 4-wheeling trails, so I may just toss the ol' Honda fourtrax and tow it in a utility trailer with the wagon, too. One advantage of having a frame hitch on your old MoPars is you can drive a vehicle to the race or show and bring along your toys as needed.

Well, it does not seem that there is much interest from any local mid Maryland GRM'ers joining me on Saturday - There are probably a lot of other events going on as well. I will share some photos of what I find at the show.

Drove to my buddy's house last night and hung out a bit before doing some biking and trail riding on the quad later today or tomorrow.

The '62 Valiant Wagon is the perfect vehicle for such an adventure??!!

Will be attending the Vintage Restoration Open House and Car show in Union Bridge MD today as well!

You'll need to log in to post.
