... in the parking lot and hope he signs my car.

I have tried multiple times over the year, and again recently, to contact anyone that could arrange something.  Social media post comments, emails to various management groups, venues, 6 radio stations between Dayton and Cincinnati (he's in Cincy tonight), both venues, phone calls, even tried his managers through LinkedIn.  Nothing.

So my last resort is to park somewhere near the entrance or loading areas, and try to get someone's attention.  I have an event at the Air Force Museum with the Star Wars group, so I'm driving it to that and going straight to The Rose music venue around 3pm.  I think a pop up tent might be too much.  Let's see if I get arrested for stalking?

I was a little concerned by the thread title at first, but best of luck to you.

If nothing else, I'd like to think he'd appreciate the chance to be reunited with the car.

I’m assuming he’s arriving by coach, right?

In reply to David S. Wallens :

Likely.  If it was at Fraze Pavilion instead of The Rose I have a friend that worked there for many years and still knows people.  The Weird Al concerts we've done has involved buses and semi trailers.

Nope.

I went straight from the AF museum event, only 10-15min away, got there around 3:45pm.  Parked outside the VIP entrance and managed to talk to a person in a yellow vest working on a trailer.  He said he could contact management by phone.

Turned out to be Rose Venue management, but better than nothing.  A lady and big dude came out, I plead my case and pointed at the car next to them.  She literally said "there is no way this is happening today".  Like it would kill her to spend 30sec telling his management I was outside.  I could have parked over on the other side and tried waiting in the sun and heat for another 3-4hrs but I was too hot, thirsty, hungry and tired to care at that point.

Dang. I'm sorry that it didn't work out for you.

I'm still remaining hopeful, though.
