Looks like I'm headed to LI on Wednesday to pick up a project and drop off a sold item.
Would like to grab some pizza on my way home. I'm a basic pepperoni or meats kinda guy. Looking for someplace easy, not too expensive and accessible parking is important. I'll be towing a trailer.
Towns I'll be in are East Meadow and Deer Park.
Edited: Had one of the towns listed wrong.
Can’t recall ever having a disappointing slice while growing up there.
Our local pizzeria while growing up was located in the unit all the way to the right. Back then, I think it was called something creative like Greenlawn Pizza. (That’s how you knew a local place was going to be good.)

It will be much harder to find a parking space for a trailer than to find a great pizza on Long Island.
My place I believe no longer exists - Carmela's in Franklin Square. There are many good places, but there are few awful ones that manage to stay in business somehow. I know this isn't much help, but you can often tell a good slice by just how it looks.

That's what I'm afraid of. Hoping to find something decent in like a medium size strip mall, so I have room to pull through a spot.
I tried a Facebook group for pizza that I had preciously left because posts about New Gaven apizza always got heated.
Got three suggestions so far and this place is the top so far from looking at the menu and Instagram posts. Pino's pizza of Deer Park.

No pizza. Long hot day, but at least made it home with the Beetle safely enough*
*I can neither confirm nor deny what occurred on the trip there and back.
