I have a 46RE from my '98 Dodge Durango that I pulled at around 113K miles (I don't remember anymore) due to it needing a rebuild.
Since I've never been a huge fan of automatics, I've since swapped in an NV3500 and made the swap from automatic to manual. I now have this slushbox sitting in the box the NV3500 came in, and I'm sure it's still a good core or a good candidate for a rebuild and I couldn't bare the thought of just junking it if someone can use it. It is a 4WD transmission, and is a direct swap into a 1st gen Durango or 2nd gen Dakota with the 5.9, might fit the 5.2 as well if you want to replace the 44RE that came with those. The bolt pattern is for the Magnum V8s, it won't fit the later 4.7L V8 and I don't believe it'll fit the 3.9L Magnum V6 either.
This is not ready to be swapped in, it'll need a rebuild!
I can include all the transmission cooling lines, one of which is newer (these are for Dakota/Durango applications only) as well as the shifter cable. Stock torque converter is currently bolted to the transmission and will go with it.
This is my last ditch effort to see it go to a good home, otherwise it'll be scrapped as it's taking up space. If you can come get it in SATX, that would be preferred, but if it's gotta get shipped I'll see what can be done.
Open to any reasonable offers, including free if you just come and get it and put it to good use.
I'd taken far better photos with my mirrorless camera a few months ago, but I couldn't find those photos, so please bare with these cell phone snaps.
