Genuine Recaros SRD seats in remarkable condition. These have nice deep bolsters, reclining seat back, and are lightweight. The upholstery is in amazing condition for their age!
I don't know exactly how old these are, but my guess is 1990s. The SRD isn't included in the 80's Recaro catalogs I've seen, so they are most likely newer than that. The same SRD seat (with different upholstery) came in the BMW E30 M3 Sport Evolution in 1989-1990. It predates (but is very similar to) the SR-3 that came in JDM Integra Type Rs and Civic Type Rs in the late-90's. These would be awesome in just about any Radwood-era car!
I just replaced the stretchy diaphragms (webbing) underneath the bottom cushions as the originals had lost most of their pliability and one of them was poorly repaired previously. The foam is such good shape I don't think the seats have seen a lot of miles. The tilt release mechanisms all work. While I was redoing the diaphragm webbing, there were a few spots of very minor surface rust on the metal frame that I cleaned up and applied POR-15. These were mostly around where the hooks for the diaphragms attach, and had worn down some of the original paint. The original paint was also black, so it won't be visible once the seats are installed.
I'm about 6'2" and 240, and these were comfortably snug for me, but on the snug side. Several friends slightly smaller than me (5'10"-6' and 175-210) all report that they fit well.
I can provide adapter brackets to go between these and Alfa Romeo sliders if that is useful to you. Otherwise, you can buy Recaro sliders for your application, or fabricate an adapter to work with the sliders you've got.
