Same, I was expecting a terrible Porsche replica. This was way cooler and I am glad its nowhere near here at that price.
Model T & As are cute and all, but I lie a little more car around me.

Do you think it would make the trip to Mi with a box of wrenches and a parka? I need this for the cabin to use as a beach cruiser.

I've been actively looking for a Model T project for the past few months, but I'll admit that I contacted the Buick guy a few days ago. I really don't want something that big, but I'm drawn to old Buicks because my grandfather made some money racing a 1925 Buick in 1927. They were advertised as 75 horsepower, 75 miles per hour, at a time when the Model T had 20 hp.
Buick guy says that the car rolls, but the steering gearbox is seized. He hasn't tried to turn the engine over, but it shifts into all three gears and reverse.
I'd absolutely buy that Model A for $800.
I was ready to buy this 26/27 chassis in New Hampshire a few weeks ago, but the seller and I couldn’t find a time that would work for both of us, and it sold before I could get there. I'm still crying over this one.

I’m not afraid of wood spoked wheels on a Model T, and there are optional wires available for them, but those Buick wheels would scare the crap out of me.
Woody, poke around here, good stories and information.
Or here. Model T Owners' Club. But if you get the one in New Hampshire, take a look at Rootlieb kits.

There’s what appears to be a Rootlieb Speedster for sale up your way.
