The lake's going to get a good freezing the next few nights! It has probably been years since they've been able to ice race.

There is 4in currently. We raced last year! I think I'm bringing this and my KTM out. Got some Canadian style studs for the 701.

KTM has some ama spec kold kutters that where pro built.
Bike is super fun around mid Ohio, setup is almost perfect. Did hop a curb in one of my later sessions and that felt supermoto of me. The bike is a riot chasing down 1000s

The new graphics look awesome! Also, glad to hear it is fun at trackdays. Always fun to hassle sportbikes on a supermoto! 😈

I was "that guy on the supermoto" last track day. Turn 1, between 5-6 and 7 you can really take advantage of being on a supermoto and I was and it was glorious. The 701 on the brakes with track fluid and good track pads with worth the money, having all the torque and decent top end made it a wepon.
Went to Adkins speedway the little local cart track with my buddies. Super nice fall day cool and sunny.
We had a XR100, 2 groms, CRF450X, and my 701, got to ride everything around there. XR100 is 100% stock minus a set of battlax BT45's. I'm a big boy and the bike was on bump stops soon as I got on it. It such a fun bike always shifting and ride it around without hitting the brakes and hucking it into the corners. I could ride this all day with some suspension setup for my weight. It was foot and knee drag fest on these.
Groms are Groms. I have quite a bit of seat time on them. Both had Kenda KD1s one was a big bore bike and both had suspension done. Foot pegs are very low, lots of foot dragging and once again could ride it all day. Pretty easy bike to ride fast.
CRF450X is a normal Supermoto build. Tons of fun, super comfortable for me. Around that track 15-20min of riding is my max. The hard braking and holding on for dear life wears me out.
The 701, this is a handful of a bike around here. You can hang a wheel through the straights, and spin the tire basically on command. Put it in second and let it eat, plenty of torque for the slow corners and enough rpms to run the straights. Everyone that rode it said it felt like the power was endless. Its way to much bike for this track but it was still so much fun.
My poor dead and once new toe sliders
I personally love a tire shot
