My local spot just finished building up some real dirt jumps. I've hit the small ones, but still working up my skill/courage to hit the big ones. I'm not "popping" as much as i'd like, so my back end is coming up a little high. Still a big adrenaline rush!

There's an awful lot of fail videos floating around the Internet for those things.  Just sayin'.  smiley

where is that? Looks fun. What are you riding? A BMX, DJ or MTB? With jumps that big, it isn't the lip that is causing your back end buck but your technique. If on a full squish, it can be preload, if a hardtail, then your popping too early. try setting up a video camera 90 degrees from the ramp and watch to make sure your rear wheel isn't leaving the ramp too early.

it's definitely a skill issue. I'm fairly certain i'm popping too early and not popping enough
