Personally, I had fun in the Aston last week and would support using it in the next series.
I'm also a fan of the current sprint races with no pit stop.

I think we're gonna run the Aston again this week and then start the new series. The following I do want to try at least one race with the increased tire wear just as an experiment because it does add an interesting dynamic to the race.

The drop off in the tires is quite substantial, the way I have the server set up. So, yes, you can just about make up the 27 seconds that a pit stop costs you. Sauce and I tested it three times (we ran 4 races with us swapping out who pitted and who stayed out), and a race where we both hammered the tires to see what happened when you wear them out. We also tested what the HC did to tire wear.
It is a fun thing. I was casing him down as his tires fell off badly on the last two laps. I missed catching him by car lengths in both tests. Given that he's a faster driver than me overall, I would consider it a virtual tie. There is still the matter of passing him. 😁😳
Last week of testing. People pleas bring your ideas. You don't want to have me choose as we could be driving laddas. I like the Aston but it is very close to what we just did.
I like the silky FED cars u have up at the moment. Maybe a quick 3 or 5 race series? If we end up liking them we can do more. Another option would be a street car supercar series. I could just go pick a random Porsche race car. The open wheel lotus is an option.
I kind of like the F10 version of the M5. Maybe do a super saloon series. See if there is a Merc, Audi and a BMW sedan combo we can put together. It could be small sedans or all the way up to S class sedans A8 and a 750i. Ok it would be a bit silly but could be fun.
I'm up for anything, but I kind of like the idea of "slow" open wheelers like Formula Ford or similar. If nothing else, when we lock wheels, it will make for some spectacular wrecks. ![]()

I wish AC's collision model was that good.
I'm fine with vans. Or Ladas. Or the open wheel Lotus. Or the Super Alto. or V8 Supercars. Or ATCC Volvos. or Spec P71.
The Aston is... fine. But its also basically exactly what we just drove for a 10 race series.
Just as long as we aren't using the Dodge Charger Hellcat Redeye Widebody probably 5 more names. Those things were undriveable.

I'm out again tonight, so have fun testing. I've already given my general preferences, but I do think the Aston would make a great 1 car series.
I'd like to have a few laps in the Lotus type 25 (The lowest powered open wheeled car I could find) or if everyone decides against open wheel then the Lotus 2-eleven or 2-eleven gt4 if we need more liveries ( the 2-eleven only has four)
Last nights open wheel car is quite nice. I currently have abs and TC forced on the server. You can turn it off if you want for the full experience of the current car. But with them available the car calls down quite a lot. I am thinking it will make it more approachable to many of us.
The car does not have ABS or TC though. If the server forces it on, even if the car doesn't have it, you will not be able to turn it off. The car needs to be modified to allow you to change those settings.
I will look into it (and add cockpit adjustable brake bias as well).
OK, it looks like when you turn that on it adds a section to the cars settings to allow you to turn TC and ABS on or off in the pits (no fine tuning).
