Darwin, I sent you a PM with my address.
Tonight is the final for this series!!! Tight battles through the field. Should be interesting how this all settles out!!

I’ve managed to get a whopping two practice session in, haha. Should be interesting indeed
@09Unwound Great stream & commentary!. improved https://youtu.be/jDbaUL7Y0D0
A fitting end to the series, with plenty of incidents to shake things up. The HC was effective, and the low HC cars could motor on by on the straights, but it caused several incidents under braking when low HC cars were behind high HC cars in the big braking zones.
Not my favorite car we have ever done but I liked it no matter what I said.
On the server are some much faster late 1980’s race cars for people to mess with. I think they are all Kunos cars. If anyone is missing them let me know. All three are relatively equal but they drive different.

Yeah I think we found and exceeded the limits of ballast in the last race, the difference in braking power had become huge, a lot like the time when we raced the modern sport compacts and the NDs were outbraking everyone, but in this case we couldn't just look at a car and tell whether it had the super-powered braking to watch out for! ![]()
The thing about the added weight and the braking distance is that it is much more like real life for me. I have never raced in a single-make series, so I am very careful about the brake points of cars ahead of me. I really did not find the weight and brake-point differences to be much of an issue for me.
The lack of brake lights doesn't help either. By the time I'd see the distance closing too much, it was too late, and these cars have limited ability to redirect when braking full force
Sans this race since I wasn't there, this series was some of the best racing against others that I have had yet. It was great fun!
Last race wasn't my finest driving, especially in race 2. I really didn't mind these cars but also won't miss them. The effects of the HC were definitely apparent, I wasn't suffering quite as much under braking but watching drillin pull out 2-3 tenths on each straight was a stark contrast.
Some highlights. It gives you a very good idea why Brick quit this one. Congrats to Sauce for the series win.
We were having a great three-way battle at the front of the first race, until the tap from behind sent me spinning into Sauce. I got really lucky and the contact with Sauce stopped my spin with me pointed straight down the track. Sauce didn't get that lucky... Then my luck ran out at the end of the back straight with the HC braking mismatch. LOL.
The best thing about these cars was their small size, which allowed side by side racing in some tight spots. The worst thing was the unpredictable behavior when taking sudden evasive action, and the wild trajectories after contact.
These cars were challenging and the unpredictable way the cars would spin after contact added to the chaos. The way the cars moved around under braking and got very upset over certain curbs was a good representation of how old unsophisticated cars act though.
