Wife’s endoscopy results just came back as positive for celiac. My daughter had this diagnosis 1.5 years ago. It can run in families so if one of your sibilants or direct relatives have it get a simple blood test to rule it out. If the blood test is positive then go for thr endoscopy. Both my wife and daughter are silent celiacs. They never really had any symptoms, but struggled with weight gain/loss. My daughter’s quality of life has greatly improved with this diagnosis and the correct diet. She is so much happy and healthier. You just don’t realize how bad you feel, I guess.
Because celiacs is defined as a disability under the ADA you can bring celiac friendly food anywhere. Go to a sporting game that says no outside food, not for celiacs. You being a copy of your diagnosis letter and they can’t deny you. Also celiac is tax deductible if you have a diagnosis.
Thanks for coming to my ted talk.
