I love sandwiches. That is all.
it’s not fancy but this place does a hell of a sandwich. As well as great sausages and baked good from Eastern Europe. same place for 100 years.

I celebrated a few days late. Castlewood four pepper turkey, mustard/mayo combo, red onions, spring mix of greens with some grape tomatoes (it's all I had), and some Violife dairy-free provolone on GF Schar bread. It was delightful.
I'm not sad about the burrito I had on Monday, but it does seem a shame to miss the event.
I've been eyeing up this place, for their Italian style focaccia based sandwiches, but haven't had a chance to try it. Part of a focaccia kick started by an episode of Stanely Tucci's "Searching for Italy" series that caused me to try the rapini and italian sausage combo. So good, but don't get carried away and over-sausage like I did on the second try.
So, I just searched my Apple Photos for “sandwich.”
Looks like I have photographed a few of the memorable ones over the years....
This one’s at the top. Looks like a Cuban from 4Rivers, a local BBQ joint.
Number 2 from the top is the Beefy King Reuben that I already shared, so let’s go to No. 3 on the list: this torta. ![]()
Where was this taken? Can’t remember. That’s my camera, though.
No. 4: Egg on a cinnamon raisin bagel. Always solid.

And I remember this. It’s the bagel place down in New Smyrna Beach.
No. 5, and last one for now because I need to get back to editing, is chicken salad at Junior’s in the City. It was so good I called my mom to tell her about it. ![]()
