Det Danske Filminstitut describes the 2013 film “Sex, Drugs & Taxation” as “a joyride through taxation, mass travel, hookers and politics.” What better vehicle to use for that joyride than this Jaguar E-type.

Despite its on-screen fame, the Jaguar remains highly original. The sellers say the Jaguar has “never been restored or welded throughout its 57 years,” displaying a “light and gentle patina.”

It’s one of the last Series 1 E-types built, aka a 1.5 car, and as the result still retains the early, small rear lights.

Find this 1968 Jaguar E-Type Series 1.5 4.2-Litre Roadster for auction at Car & Classic.

In the 1960's and 1970's, I never saw a Jaguar E-type with black wire wheels.  The Willow Green is an interesting color for the bodywork.

The black wire wheels are interesting. Not sure if I like them or not, to be honest. The Willow Green looks good, though.
