Bob Wingate sold the most Chevrolet Corvettes year after year. Chevrolet decided to reward his hard work with this factory shop order C2 Corvette.
The Corvette is the only known FSO C2. It even sports a “Build per FSO” tank sticker, which the NCRS verified.
Wingate special-ordered the M20 wide-ratio four-speed manual for this build as he intended to autocross the car. It also has factory-installed six taillights and no front bumpers.

Interesting! BTW, what is the difference between a FSO and a CPO?
I am also curious about the taillamps. Since the standard taillamp harness was for only two lamps per side how was this done?
A local fellow lightly customized his c2 probably fifty plus years ago and did the six light modification on it. Actually just saw him at a car show yesterday driving it.. Very similar mods but only done in black. Not sure what powers it
