What makes this Aston Martin more special than most? In the early 1980s, this DB5 was purchased by John Taylor, bassist and founding member of Duran Duran, who would help write the theme for 1985’s “A View to Kill.”

Around that same time, the DB5 was restored by marque specialists GTC Engineering and Shapecraft, though, in 2000, would later undergo further work–by the same marque specialists–that included rebuilding the engine to 4.2-liter specification and refinishing the car in a Bond-appropriate combo of Silver Birch over Elephant Grey.

(Per the seller, the DB5 was originally configured with Autumn Gold over a Red Connolly interior.)

Currently showing around 56,900 miles, the Aston Martin is accompanied by a “comprehensive and carefully curated” history file.
