Lyncar, a company with F1 chassis construction experience, and Peter Bohanon developed the car. The chassis consists of tubing and aluminum sheets, with a fiberglass body finishing it off. Despite the increased size to accommodate Chamberlain’s frame, it surprisingly weighs just around 3000 pounds.

A supercharged GM marine block V8 powers the car, and it’s paired with a BMW ZF five-speed transmission. The powerplant produces 467 horses and the car is capable of speeds upwards of 200 mph.
