Lemmon owned and drove this very E-type before selling it in the early 1970s to animator Leo Salkin (creator of the animated version of Mel Brooks and Carl Reiner’s “2000 Year Old Man” comedy routine), who then owned the Jaguar until the early 1990s.

Now, with its third owner, the Jaguar shows fewer than 72,000 miles from new and is accompanied by an original letter from Jack Lemmon, confirming that the car was his.
