This is the final manual-equipped Ferrari 599 GTB to be built. That would make it the last Ferrari to come with a manual gearbox.

Luca di Montezemolo, then chairman of Ferrari, personally delivered this Ferrari to its first and only private owner. He also signed the car.

The historic Ferrari carries just 6600km on it (roughly 4100 miles). It was just serviced this month, too, making it ready for its next owner.

Find this 2012 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano for auction at RM Sotheby’s, with an estimated value of £750,000-£850,000 (approximately $1,000,000-$1,100,000 USD).

I find it odd that the Chairman of Ferrari would write the message "To my friend" in English.  Is the word "Ferrari" on the door sill supposed to have a crooked letter "i"?  It is surprising to me that no manual-transmission Ferrari's have been built for 13 years.  I sure wish that I could afford to bid on this car.
