Yes, this Ferrari is the sole 250 GTO finished in Bianco by the factory–out of the total run of just 36 ever made–but that’s far from its only notable accolade.

Graham Hill, Jack Sears, Mike Parkes, Roy Salvadori, Mike MacDowel, Mike Salmon, Richie Ginther–all of these legendary drivers raced the GTO throughout the early 1960s.

During this time, the Ferrari secured multiple podium finishes, including first in class at the 1963 Guards Trophy Race at Brands Hatch and second in its class at the 1962 and 1963 RAC Tourist Trophy Race at Goodwood.

Yes, the 250 GTO has been maintained, repaired and refinished, though it still retains a number of original components like the gearbox and interior, as well as the hood louvers and third fender vent added under the ownership of privateer team owner John Coombs.

Under the care of Jon Shirley, who acquired the car in 1999, the Ferrari was refinished in the Bianco livery it wore at the 1962 Goodwood Tourist Trophy, and has since participated in the Goodwood Revival, Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, Monterey Historics and several other notable marque, concours and historic racing events.
