Some people have destination-based bucket lists, while others have food-centric ones. I, on the other hand, have a bucket list of cars I want to drive.
Don’t worry, I won’t make you sit through the PowerPoint presentation I have prepared–that’s for the family gatherings. I’ll just share five that are frequently found at the top of my (ever-growing) list.

Formula Offroad. I don't think I have the balls to run one of the open class rigs but I would like to be a passenger with Thor Thormar Palsson!

FIA Racing Truck:

Agree on the Dakar Rally Truck as well.
A Trophy Truck:

Dodge Racing Van:

Apparently I want to drive some really big stuff as fast as I can.....
Let's see, there's a 935, an Audi S1 (any flavor, as long as it's a shorty with a DOHC engine), a proper Group 4 build Escort, a Renault Clio Maxi, and #5 is reserved for later.
If you meant modern cars, um... Spec Miatas look fun.

I can totally relate.
Big things that shouldn't go fast, but can, is among my favorite flavour of vehicles.

I would have loved to be a fly on the wall during that corporate meeting.
I have been in and around some serious iron in my life. The only thing I really want to drive is a 917-30. I have been around enough of them that I know I don't fit in the factory short tail coupes which would be my dream.

I doubt I could fit into anything I'd want to drive.

Top of my list is a Bugatti T51
I also want to drive a Porsche 906.
For the hooligan factor a Dakar Truck.
If you're going to go big then you need to go big; sign me up for a BelAZ 75710 dump truck.
Finally a 1964 Ferrari 250 GTO.

Even at your height your feet are part of the crumple zone. They are seriously tight.

Was the 917 the one with the aluminum tubeframe that was pressurized with nitrogen, so they could use a pressure gauge to tell when it was cracking and about to disintegrate?

In reply to Pete. (l33t FS) :
Yep, Porsche started doing that a little earlier with the 908 or 906.
908/03 is my favorite Porsche prototype. Super light, fiberglass body over an aluminum frame was perfect for Targa Florio. Couldn't race at night because headlights would have weighed it down.

I taught one of them how to ski! They sold the car to my friend tSoG in NW Pennsylvania in 2017. I'm an approved driver if he ever wants to race it again.

Toyota TS040 - 4WD hybrid LMP1 was the last racing class I was excited about. While Toyota couldn't match Porsche or Audi, I liked that it used a naturally aspirated V8 and super capacitors.
The onboard feed of the LMP1s weaving through GT traffic was like watching a race in fast-forward.

In reply to j_tso :
what about the 909 bergspyder which weighed 384 kg (847 lb), to save the weight of a fuel pump it had a pressurized titanium ball as a gas tank
In reply to wearymicrobe :
the 917/30 is the can-am roadster isnt it?
Dan Gurney's AAR Eagle F1 car. I wouldn't fit in most F1 cars but he was 6'4" so there should be plenty of room. I would like to drive a GT40, but I sat in what was supposed to be an accurate replica once and my head was hard against the roof.
