Fantastic choices from the golden era! Now bring back all the E36 Individual colors...

The paint colors that made the E36 and E46 M3 so memorable? Well, BMW is bringing some of them back.
Dakar Yellow, Imola Red, Laguna Seca Blue and Technoviolet all make a return for 2026 as paint options for the latest M3.
The catch? Picking one of the colors will set you back an additional $4500, and that’s on top of the standard M3’s MSRP of over $78,000.

Also, availability across the M3 lineup varies. For example, all four colors are available for the standard M3, though only Dakar Yellow is available for the M3 Competition. (For what it’s worth, however, the Competition does get Daytona Violet.)
So, if given the option, what color would you pick for your new M3?
I suggest a MUCH better idea would be to bring back the person that designed the exterior of the E46 and put damn near any colour you want on it and it'll look amazing. :)

As far as I can tell from the BMW website, yes.
Though I think if you flash enough money, you could probably get whatever you want.
Nice colors. The world needs more colors on cars.
BMW also needs to offer a Retro Grill™ accessory for their cars.
In reply to Noddaz :
Color is good. For whatever reason, I think the new nose looks better on the M3 than the M4.
