On the east coast, consider a track day with the Sport Car Driving Association, in business since 1995 and owned and operated by SCCA national champ Elivan Goulart and family. Elivan's son, Ethan, is the current SCCA Spec Miata National Champion, the youngest ever at just 15 years old. The instructors are clearly up to the task. I've done a number of track days and autocross events to enjoy my cars and a day with fellow enthusiasts but I'd really like to do an instructed car control course near me in South Florida. Anyone have a suggestion?
And don't forget Summit Point's Friday At The Track HPDE program with beginner and intermediate level instruction. It's one of the first and longest running HPDE programs in the country located just west of Washington, DC in the WV panhandle.
