The plan: Build a Miata-based Jaguar D-type replica using a carbon-fiber body built over 3D-printed molds. Among the first steps Box4VIR shared on our forum: “I’m printing a 1:24 scale body to test-fit on a Miata 1:24 scale toy model.”
To save the expense of painting, the plan is to use British Racing Green carbon fiber. “I’ll report back in 12 years when this is done/ given up on,” our intrepid builder jokes. (At least, we think it’s a joke.)
