$2000 Challenge: A Nissan minivan turned BRE-inspired low-buck racer

Back in the day, Peter Brock’s racing program put Datsun on the map, claiming SCCA titles in the brand’s roadster, 510 and 240Z. More than half a century later, fans are still flying his iconic graphics: bold twin stripes joining the windshield to form an arrow.

John Welsh showed us that the treatment works just as well on a Nissan Quest minivan. As usual, he came to win the party, handing out Capri-Suns to anyone within arm’s length.
