Since the Proxes R is similar pace to the RE71RS....probably can assume this is in the ECF/V730 universe?
There's a new 200tw tire in town, and it's from Toyo: The all-new Proxes Sport R.
“The Proxes Sport R is our latest extreme performance summer tire, crafted for drivers who demand racetrack performance along with the practicality for street use,” said Cameron Parsons, technical field manager, for motorsports tires. “We focused on building a very capable tire by incorporating an advanced tread pattern and compound, resulting in excellent dry grip and durability on track for the 200 UTQG segment.”
While over 50 sizes for 13- to 21-inch wheel diameters are planned, only a batch of “initial sizes” will be made available when the tire hits the market, which is expected to be late in the first quarter of 2026. That means it won't meet SCCA tire availability rules for programs such as Solo and Time Trials.

I was gonna assume this also, but you can never know with Toyo.

Well... I just swapped on the winter tires, so I won't need Summer tires until April or May... ![]()

Minis are best on 15s
I already have 16" wheels and have zero desire to replace them. And it's not like 15" choices are any better. Tire Rack shows a few more 225/50-15 choices, but more are pure track tires I have no use for. And while I know there are some 15" wheels that will fit over the JCW calipers, I would prefer a bit more clearance for debris when street driving.
