Ha. I’m into it.

You want the coupe? Buy the Supra. Convertible? Then you’ll want the Z4. But did you know there was a secret third option?
Yes, as GR Supra owner "Supra Mario" Chan shows us, you can essentially make your own BMW Z4 Coupe by replacing the Supra's front end with one from BMW.
While the modification is far from a plug-and-play upgrade, we're enjoying the updates Mario regularly shares on Instagram and Facebook.
The end goal? To debut the creation, called “Project GW29 ‘Clown Shoe,’” at this year’s SEMA show in November.

Me too, it doesn't look half bad–though I'd love to see it in person before passing final judgement.
I see potential swap partnerships between people wanting Z4 coupes and Supra convertibles being the next big thing.

I remember that happening around 2000 when the new Golf and Jetta came out with different noses. People would get together to make Jolfs and Gettas.
In reply to Keith Tanner :
Reading the word "Jolf" makes me think there's denim involved somehow, like with jorts. ![]()
Check out this crazy idea: Camaro up front, El Camino out back.
"What do you get when you put a BMW front end on a Toyota GR Supra?"
Truth in advertising?
The carpets match the drapes?
The Z4 Coupe it always was?
It's hilarious when people talk about the mk5 Supra and mention it has a BMW engine or interior or they notice a lot of Beemer parts on it. It's 100% BMW, zero Toyota parts on that thing. Great car for sure, easily the best Toyota BMW ever built, but it's as much a Toyota as a Pontiac Vibe is a GM.
