2013 Subaru BRZ for sale, fun car to drive, and has been reliable for the few thousand miles I have put on it. Motor is from a junkyard and has unknown mileage, but it hasn't burnt any oil during my ownership. Car has 158k miles on the chassis.
Pros
-Clean interior for age/mileage
-Upgraded touch screen head unit
-Stainless Steel exhaust (that isn't too loud)
-FT86 Catted Header
-Koni Yellow shocks on stock springs
-Spare oil filters
-Spare front brake rotors/pads
-Clean title
-No serious rust, some surface rust on underside of car -- common for a car of this age
Cons
-Has a small oil leak on the front drivers side of the engine, could probably be fixed with some Hondabond
-CEL occasionally comes on from the aftermarket header (Code is P0420) -- Hasn't come on in around 1500 miles
-I accidentally broke the clip on the passenger visor, but still have it
-Paint/rock chips are consistent with a car that has 158k miles
Price is $8,500 on stock BRZ wheels with tires that have a lot of life left, or $9,500 with 17x8 RPF1's with RT660 tires from 2021(ish), but still have a good amount of tread left, and stock wheels. Located in West Michigan.

Price drop to $8500 with both sets of wheels and tires.

I have not driven this car on track, but I have a friend with pretty much an identical car, and he runs 1:48's on Hankook RS4 tires. I think a 45-46 could be possible on better tires.
Curious about what year the junkyard engine is? Does the engine have a vin to run it through Carfax and find out?
Any pictures of the underbody?
I'm just playing with the idea of selling my Mustang but don't want to be with out a sporty possible track car.

I bought the engine off a buddy who got it out of the junkyard. He said from looking up the VIN on that car, it was a 2013 and the chassis had 190k miles. The vehicle was in the junkyard from a collision. The motor burns no oil, and after 2000 miles the oil is still quite clean, so I find it hard to beleive the motor has 190k miles, it was also quite clean for supposedly having that many miles. I have attached some underbody photos to this response.

In Michigan that's considered rust free, no?
