What’s Honda’s go-fast department, Honda Racing Corporation, been up to recently?
Plenty, according to the sizeable list of cars and parts it’s bringing to SEMA this year, November 4-7.

Headlining HRC’s showcase is the all-new Civic Type R HRC Rally XP and Passport TrailSport HRC Concept.
Fresh from off-road testing in Texas, where it was driven by Formula 1 driver Liam Lawson, the Rally XP has been designed to compete in American Rally Association’s 2WD class.
In a similar vein, the HRC Passport Concept has been fitted with a “comprehensive suite” of upgrades intended to improve its off-road performance and capabilities.
Likewise, the Civic Type R Super GT racer–Honda’s latest entry into Japan’s Autobacs Super GT Series–will be making its U.S. debut following multiple podium finishes this year.
An updated version of the Integra Type S HRC Prototype will also be on display, showing off several new aftermarket goodies including Acura ARX-06-derived wheels, uprated suspension components and more.
If that’s somehow not enough to pique your interest, the showcase will have Alex Palou’s Indy 500-winning car, a Civic Type R TCR driven to multiple victories in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, the highly successful Acura ARX-06 GTP racer and the Passport Baja race truck that finished second in the Baja 500.
And while the selection of prototype performance parts on display won’t be for sale–at least not yet–HRC will have a collection of merch and memorabilia available to purchase. (Note to self: Pack an extra bag before leaving for SEMA.)
Look for Honda Racing Corporation at booth 24791 in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
