Hello all new member in Florida. Over the last year in my spare time (I am a building contractor) I have been building a Ferrari 312pb gokart. My goal was to try to stay as close to the original as feasibly possible. I started from plans drawn onto ply wood. Here are a few pics. If any one wants me to fill in the gaps let me know.

I gotta say, it seems like there is a lot of info to fill in between photo 1 and photo 2.
Welcome to the forum, Brad!
Awesome build, looks great!
But yeah, some more intermediate step photos would be helpful :)
(btw, we absolutely want to see you fill in the gaps. That thing looks awesome!)
Looks awesome! Does it have a body? Where are you in FL?
Well that escalated quickly

Boo you beat me too it. But I need all the photos of the build this is so my jam.
Ok I guess my idea of a go cart is a whole lot different. I was thinking one of those kid types with a lawn mower motor. That is waaaayy more than just a simple little go cart. Not that I'm complaining as that is cools as hell.

Might as well leave this here, I'm guessing it's the inspiration for this project...

You can post multiple pics in the same post, just keep hitting the "image" button and choosing to upload them.
But you do have to do it one at a time...

This is fantastic. These should be raced on kart tracks.
It's also probably not much smaller than a UOP shadow canam car.
So cool! I wondered if that was a goldwing engine
I'm loving it. Can't wait to see that body in place.
I don't know Goldwing drivetrains, that looks like an excellent choice for this kind of vehicle. What's the differential?
How did you determine the scale? That wheel/tire package is so good, I suspect that may have been the start.
That is genuinely awesome. Any chance we could get a ride-along video and maybe an impression of how it drives? Great work there!

Aww yea!
Did you work out the gear ratios to see what kind of speed you might have?

It's not running yet! Need to wire and clean the carbs. I ran the ratios on a calculator and it's a bit shorter than a goldwing which is good since it's not a highway warrior. Front wheel is 10" and rear is 12" which puts it dead 80% .seems big but its wheelbase is shorter than a rzr 570 and a little longer than a standard golf cart. With 100hp and 100ftlb torque it's has to be a hoot! And it is light, you can easily roll it with one finger tip on the tire. Racing would be awesome, I have already purchased some materials and parts to build a 80% tyrell p34
Oh...you definitely have our attention now.
